Innovation - Tutti Frutti

This customer was looking for an original promotional package for one of its confectionery products. The sweets were packaged in a cardboard box but consumers were complaining about the box breaking up when it was carried in a trouser pocket. This is why CM Packaging was contacted. The initial idea was to have an oval shaped tin in which the sweets then would be placed. After a CM Packaging brainstorm session a number of ideas were presented to the customer. They were very surprised and enthusiastic and gave CM Packaging the freedom to further develop the concept. In the end CM Packaging was able to create an innovative packaging solution comprising of metal and plastic into which the cardboard box would fit, thereby eliminating the problem of the box breaking up.
